Make sure your design is ready for 3D printing. Here's what works — and what doesn't.

What works great

What is NFC merch?

NFC merch is physical merchandise — like keychains, magnets, or figures — with a built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) chip. When someone taps the product with their smartphone, it instantly opens a digital link: a Spotify profile, YouTube video, Instagram page, website, or any URL you choose. No app download required. It bridges the gap between physical products and digital content, making it especially powerful for bands, creators, and brands.

How does the NFC chip work?

Each product contains a small, durable NFC tag that's embedded during the 3D printing process. The chip is pre-programmed with your chosen link before shipping. To use it, simply hold any NFC-enabled smartphone (iPhone or Android) near the product — it automatically opens the link in the phone's browser. The chip requires no battery, no charging, and lasts indefinitely.

What file formats do you accept for custom designs?

SVG files work best for 3D printing. High-resolution PNG (minimum 1000px) also works well. Your design should have a maximum of 5 distinct colors, with clear outlines and no fine details below 1mm. Logos, symbols, icons, and bold typography produce the best results. Full photographs and complex gradients cannot be 3D-printed.

How long does production take?

Standard orders ship within 5–7 business days from the workshop in Tenerife. Each piece is 3D-printed individually and then hand-finished (painted, assembled, NFC chip installed). Bulk orders for bands (20+ pieces) may take 7–10 business days depending on complexity.

Can I change the NFC link after receiving the product?

The NFC chip is programmed before shipping with the link you specify during checkout. If you need to change the link later, contact Ben via WhatsApp and he can advise on options. For bands ordering in bulk, we recommend using a link shortener or redirect service so you can update the destination URL anytime without reprogramming the chip.
