What is bleach-dyed fashion?
Bleach-dyed (or bleached) fashion is a technique where bleach is hand-applied to dark fabric to create unique, unrepeatable patterns. Unlike tie-dye, the process removes color rather than adding it, producing raw, organic designs. At Imperfectly Perfect, every bleached shirt and hoodie is a one-of-a-kind original — no templates, no duplicates, ever.
Are these really one-of-a-kind pieces?
Yes. Every piece gets a unique Unikat number and is never reproduced. The bleach process creates patterns that are physically impossible to replicate. Once a piece is sold, it's marked as 'Gone' and archived. You can browse sold pieces in the Gone archive.
How should I care for bleached clothing?
Wash inside-out at 30°C with similar colors. Avoid direct sunlight for extended drying. The bleach pattern is permanent and will not fade with normal washing. Do not use additional bleach products.
Can I request a custom piece?
Yes — that's the whole Custom Fashion world. Pick a category (T-Shirt, Hoodie, Denim, Faux Leather, Stage Outfit), share your idea, size and budget through the inquiry form, and I'll come back with a sketch and a quote. Larger band runs (10+ pieces) go through the band packages instead.
How long does a custom piece take?
Usually 2–4 weeks from confirmed design to shipping, depending on category and complexity. Bleaching and hand-painted artwork take the most time — and yes, every result has small natural variations. That's the point.
What sizes are available?
Sizes vary by piece since each one is unique. The available size is shown on each product page. If you need a specific size, follow the newsletter for drop alerts — new pieces drop regularly in various sizes.
